Manager, Fiber Network Project Implementation

About the role

The Manager, Fiber Network Project Implementation will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of FTTH infrastructure across assigned regions in Ghana. The role ensures projects meet commercial targets, technical standards, and customer expectations while supporting estate, high‑rise, and gated‑community roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute FTTH deployment to achieve home‑pass, estate, and gated‑community targets.
• Manage high‑rise building connectivity projects, coordinating with developers and property owners.
• Align rollout plans with commercial forecasts and report variances.
• Monitor and maintain IT nodes for provisioning, policy enforcement, and charging support.
• Support core network upgrades, including Broadband Radio Access Server (BRAS) and other broadband platforms.
• Liaise with the Network Group to ensure sufficient GSM transport capacity and back‑haul for FTTH.
• Collaborate with Technology and Commercial teams to evaluate scalable FTTH technologies and passive components.
• Provide technical input for new product evaluations and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist Procurement and Sourcing with technical documentation, vendor coordination, and contract tracking.
• Maintain deployment dashboards and report progress on home activation, RGS performance, and project timelines.
• Identify risks and delays, escalating to the Senior Manager for resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale FTTH or broadband infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with developers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to align technical delivery with commercial objectives and forecast demand.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
