About the role
We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our medical facility. The role involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining patient records, and delivering high‑quality customer service to patients.
Key responsibilities
- Interview patients for case histories prior to appointments
- Update and maintain patients' health records
- Assist patients with initial paperwork and schedule appointments
- Process insurance claims in compliance with legal requirements
- Use medical software to support all transactions
- Manage receivable and payable accounts and maintain financial records
- Answer patient queries and ensure quality customer service
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to coordinate examinations, tests, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with procedures and stay up‑to‑date with medical and insurance legislation
Required profile
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and work efficiently
- Confidential handling of sensitive information
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
