About the role

Ho Technical University is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join its health services team in Ho, Volta Region. The successful candidate will support the university’s medical and pharmaceutical activities, ensuring safe and effective medication management for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medicines and provide counseling to patients.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory control.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure appropriate drug therapy.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and oversee daily operations.
• Participate in health promotion and education initiatives on campus.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
• Permanent registration with the Ghana Pharmacy Council.
• Completion of at least one year of housemanship.
• Hospital practice experience is an advantage.
