Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Midway Hospital is looking for a dynamic and personable Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient medication services to patients and wards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in accurately dispensing medications.
• Prepare medication labels, calculate quantities and organise stock for dispensing.
• Dispense drugs to patients and wards under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain proper storage, stock control and verify incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
• Communicate relevant information during shift handovers.
• Support health and safety standards within the pharmacy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the pharmacist or management.

Required profile

• HND in Dispensing or Pharmacy Technology.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or community pharmacy.
• Strong attention to detail, professional appearance and good customer service.
