President (Chief Executive Officer)

About the role

The Data Link Institute is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Governing Council, the President will act as the academic and administrative head of the Institute, guiding its strategic direction and ensuring excellence in education and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to achieve the Institute’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
• Oversee academic programs, research initiatives, and professional training.
• Manage financial resources prudently and ensure sound human‑resource practices.
• Represent the Institute externally, building partnerships with industry and stakeholders.
• Uphold disciplinary standards and enforce Institute statutes for staff and students.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (or equivalent based on experience).
• Minimum eight years in a senior management role within a tertiary institution or relevant industry.
• Proven ability to inspire, manage, and direct large teams.
• Strong track record of academic leadership, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
• High integrity, creativity, and sound judgment.
