Advanced Mathematics Consultant - AI Training

About the role

Gramian Consultancy is seeking a specialist to support an advanced AI research initiative focused on mathematical reasoning. You will design and evaluate challenging mathematics benchmarks that test AI models on multi‑step problem solving across several domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design original competition‑level mathematics problems in Algebra, Number Theory, Combinatorics, and Geometry.
• Write complete, rigorous, self‑contained solutions using LaTeX.
• Evaluate AI‑generated solutions for correctness, logical consistency, and proof gaps.
• Classify problems by topic, difficulty, and mathematical domain.
• Contribute to the creation of advanced mathematical evaluation benchmarks.
• Collaborate with reviewers to improve evaluation quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Strong competitive mathematics background (e.g., AIME, HMMT, IMO, national Olympiads).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing mathematical proofs, solutions, or technical content.
• Ability to work 20‑40 hours per week on a remote basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LaTeX for documenting mathematical expressions and proofs.
