About the role
The Digital Futures Programme in Ghana seeks a proactive Programme Assistant to provide administrative, coordination and operational support. You will work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of trainings, workshops and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate programme administration and day‑to‑day communication across teams and partners.
- Support the preparation of reports, updates and partner submissions for internal and donor audiences.
- Assist in planning and delivering trainings, workshops and stakeholder engagements, handling logistics, materials, accessibility and evaluations.
- Provide basic financial administration with partners, including tracking expenditure and supporting budgeting/forecasting.
- Maintain clear programme documentation and evidence on SharePoint.
- Facilitate ethical collection of case studies, stories and photos, ensuring informed consent and safeguarding.
- Identify and escalate operational or contextual risks and support data‑protection and do‑no‑harm approaches.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (development, social sciences, human rights, gender, information systems, public policy) or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in programme or project delivery, including coordination, logistics, documentation and partner follow‑up.
- Strong organisational, coordination and communication abilities, with confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to inclusion, equality and safeguarding, including data protection and do‑no‑harm principles.
- Experience or connection with organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using SharePoint for document management.
- Comfort with online meeting platforms, messaging tools and online forms.
