Remote Maths Expert (Short‑Term Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Maths Expert to work remotely on a short‑term, task‑based contract. The role involves developing advanced mathematical models and contributing to AI research projects over a three‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Design and apply advanced mathematical models and computational techniques to solve complex problems across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing mathematical insight for research and AI model evaluation.
• Stay current with cutting‑edge mathematical literature and research papers.
• Create and solve advanced mathematical reasoning problems for large language model training and benchmarking.
• Analyze complex concepts and deliver rigorous, structured solutions.
• Support evaluation initiatives focused on advanced reasoning and applied mathematics.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in at least four areas such as mathematical logic, algebra, linear algebra, topology, analysis, probability, statistics, or applied mathematics.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through research, publications, or projects.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
