About the role
The Reservations Manager is responsible for driving reservations sales, managing a team, and delivering exceptional customer service to maximize revenue and guest loyalty for Marriott properties in Accra and Tema.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and secure new reservations sales opportunities to meet personal and property revenue goals.
- Train, schedule, and monitor reservations sales staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to procedures.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries, negotiate contracts, and manage group reservation forecasts.
- Track reservations, manage no‑shows, and oversee billing instructions and wait‑list prioritization.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve guest complaints, and promote brand standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree in Business, Marketing, Hotel Management, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
