Security Supervisor

About the role

The leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana is seeking a hands‑on Security Supervisor to manage day‑to‑day security operations at its Accra office and oversee activities in the Tema site. You will lead a team of contract security officers, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and shift‑manage security officers, guaranteeing required staffing levels.
• Report all security incidents promptly to the Head of Security and produce detailed incident reports.
• Prepare, document, and circulate duty rosters; obtain approval from the Head of Security.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training for new officers and provide site orientations for visitors and new staff.
• Perform daily inner and outer perimeter patrols, inspect work procedures, and identify security breaches.
• Supervise searches and seizures of finished products, raw materials, tools, and any company property.
• Lead emergency evacuations and coordinate response to incidents.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and restricted‑access areas, ensuring keys and access credentials are secured.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Security & Safety, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar security supervisory role.
• Certification in CCTV training or crime prevention is an advantage.
