About the role
The Ghana Railway Development Authority is looking for six dedicated Security Officers to protect passengers, staff, cargo and railway assets. This full‑time position involves maintaining a safe environment across railway facilities and stations in Tema.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol railway facilities, stations and terminals to deter and detect security threats.
- Monitor activities and control access points, ensuring only authorised personnel enter restricted areas.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and security breaches.
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and daily activity records.
- Enforce compliance with safety and security procedures and regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) education or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in security services.
- Good physical fitness and alertness.
- Strong communication and observation abilities.
