Security Officer – Railway Safety (6 openings)

About the role

The Ghana Railway Development Authority is looking for six dedicated Security Officers to protect passengers, staff, cargo and railway assets. This full‑time position involves maintaining a safe environment across railway facilities and stations in Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol railway facilities, stations and terminals to deter and detect security threats.
• Monitor activities and control access points, ensuring only authorised personnel enter restricted areas.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and security breaches.
• Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and daily activity records.
• Enforce compliance with safety and security procedures and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) education or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in security services.
• Good physical fitness and alertness.
• Strong communication and observation abilities.
