Technician Hygiene Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Technician Hygiene Assistant to support our chemical manufacturing site. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will provide both administrative and technical assistance, ensuring equipment is set up, cleaned, and operating within defined parameters.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and maintain dosing equipment.
• Monitor chemical consumption and verify product concentrations.
• Report technical issues related to cleaning processes.
• Measure water usage and dosage rates, ensuring they stay within recommended ratios.
• Control stock levels, trigger re‑ordering alerts and ensure chemicals are available at points of use.
• Record technical incidents, assist in basic problem diagnosis and maintain communication with site personnel.
• Deliver basic training to operators and complete consumption tracking for all chemicals.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or Diploma in Chemical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Relevant technical certificate.
• Experience in start‑up or pilot production environments is a plus.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow supervision.
