Associate Professor, Business School (Various Departments)

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Business School. The appointment can be made in any of the following departments: Management & Human Resources, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the selected department.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and research activities.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized academic journals.
• Engage in community service and university outreach initiatives.
• Participate in faculty development, departmental committees, and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or for senior lecturers, a minimum of four years as Senior Lecturer with at least ten peer‑reviewed journal publications.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research.
• Three referees’ contact details must be provided.
• Willingness to work in any of the listed Business School departments.
