About the role

The Faculty of Computing and Information Systems at Ghana Communication Technology University is seeking qualified candidates for the rank of Associate Professor. The position is open across several departments including Mobile and Pervasive Computing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, and General Studies. GCTU is a technology‑oriented public university established under the Ghana Communication Technology University Act 2020, located in Tesano, Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Conducting scholarly research and publishing findings.
• Engaging in community service activities.
• Contributing to faculty development initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum four years experience as a Senior Lecturer.
• At least ten publications in recognized journals.
• Appointment as Associate Professor by a recognized university with comparable conditions.
• Names and addresses of three referees.
