About the role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computing and Information Systems at Ghana Communication Technology University. The university is a technology‑oriented public institution located in Tesano, Accra, offering an environment conducive to teaching, research and faculty development.

Key responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Supervising student projects and research.
• Conducting scholarly research and publishing in recognized journals.
• Providing community service and outreach activities.
• Participating in faculty development and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area of specialization.
• Either already appointed as Associate Professor by a recognized university with comparable conditions, or have at least four years as Senior Lecturer with a minimum of ten publications in recognized journals.
• Provide names and addresses of three referees.
• Submit an online application and ten hard‑copy documents as specified.
