Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. The position is open to candidates wishing to join any of the engineering departments, including Telecommunications, Computer, Electrical & Electronics, and Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Faculty of Engineering.
• Supervising student projects, theses and research activities.
• Conducting scholarly research and publishing in recognized journals.
• Engaging in community service and outreach initiatives.
• Contributing to faculty development and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or related discipline.
• Appointment as Associate Professor by a recognized university with comparable promotion criteria, or a Senior Lecturer with at least four years of experience and ten publications in recognized journals.
• Three referees with contact details.
