Business Development Manager – HR Consultancy Services

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for an HR consultancy by acquiring new clients, building strategic partnerships, and converting qualified leads into long‑term contracts across public, private and multilateral sectors in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue high‑value business opportunities in government, NGOs and corporate organisations.
• Generate and nurture a robust pipeline of leads, aiming for at least 10 daily and 50 weekly prospects.
• Close new service level agreements (SLAs) across recruitment, outsourcing, HR advisory and compliance services.
• Develop and execute monthly and annual revenue plans, tracking conversion rates and pipeline value.
• Represent the firm at conferences, networking events and business meetings to promote service offerings.
• Prepare compelling proposals, presentations and contracts, and act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Proven track record in lead generation, client acquisition and deal closure within HR or consulting services.
• Strong network of decision‑makers in government, NGOs and corporate sectors in Ghana.
• Ability to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets and maintain a pipeline three times the deal value.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
