About the role
The CCTV Controller ensures continuous monitoring of alarm systems, manages incident reporting, and coordinates with security teams to maintain effective surveillance operations. This position requires vigilance, quick decision‑making, and strong communication across departments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor alarm signals and perform hourly call checks.
- Report incidents promptly and manage guard monitoring signals.
- Conduct Geotab and Protrack system monitoring.
- Handle field‑to‑test alarm signals and program client alarm accounts in the Oryx system.
- Track guard assistance needs and communicate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operational coordination.
Required profile
- Minimum a degree‑level education.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a shift system and manage time‑sensitive tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and client‑relation skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Geotab.
- Proficiency with Protrack.
- Experience using the Oryx alarm‑management system.
