Commercial Manager

About the role

Mowlem Group is seeking a Commercial Manager to join an international infrastructure project in Ghana. This permanent, onsite position will oversee commercial, contract, procurement and cost management activities, ensuring project profitability and successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the submission of pre‑qualification documents and tenders to secure future workload.
• Prepare and update tender and construction risk‑management evaluations.
• Secure financial instruments such as performance bonds and tender guarantees.
• Manage procurement processes and contract administration on‑site.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the project, including cost control and value management.
• Identify commercial opportunities, negotiate deals and monitor costs to protect margins.
• Develop and mentor the onsite commercial team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in commercial management.
• Previous overseas project experience in a similar role.
• Strong background in contract, procurement and cost management.
• Ability to work independently in an international environment.
