Communication Strategist

About the role

Palladium is seeking a Communication Strategist to lead strategic communications for the Prosperity Health Ventures (PHV) component of the Jobs and Economic Transformation (JET) Programme in Ghana. The role will support the creation of efficient healthcare marketplaces, improve access to quality care, and promote transparency through technology‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for PHV, aligned with JET programme objectives.
• Craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences, including government, private investors, and local communities.
• Produce communication materials such as briefs, press releases, case studies, and digital content.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across anchor sectors (pharmaceuticals, automobiles, textiles & garments) and ensure consistent messaging on climate‑friendly and green technology initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage, track impact metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Ensure all communications adhere to Palladium’s safeguarding and diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communications within development, health‑tech, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of public‑private partnership dynamics and economic transformation initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for varied cultural contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, investors, and NGOs.
