Country Head – Ghana

About the role

The client, a leading multinational organization, is looking for a commercially driven Country Head to lead its Ghana operations. Reporting to the Regional Head, the role combines strategic leadership, business development and operational oversight to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that increase market share and ensure long‑term sustainability in Ghana.
• Lead all operational functions, aligning daily activities with regional and corporate objectives.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships and investment prospects within the industrial zone ecosystem.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and P&L management while ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, investors, customers and strategic partners, acting as the primary representative of the organization in Ghana.
• Coordinate with regional leadership and the Dubai office on strategic and operational matters.
• Support and monitor projects related to industrial parks, infrastructure, construction and land development, ensuring timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven executive management experience in a senior commercial or operational role.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business growth.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with regional and international teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience in financial oversight, budgeting and P&L responsibility.
