Finance Specialist – Supplier & Contract Management

About the role

The Finance Specialist will support the LR & BP Manager in ensuring contractual and financial compliance across Vodafone Ghana’s supplier base and internal business units. The role bridges commercial and financial management between approved suppliers and program teams, driving cost reductions for base‑station roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Support project and program managers to achieve measurable reductions in installation costs.
• Provide commercial and contractual support to Networks, Fixed Services, Solution Deployment and other internal functions.
• Manage agreement of final account statements and authorize interim (stage) payments with contractors.
• Liaise with Finance Operations to settle costs related to ‘site on air’ milestones.
• Ensure process compliance at contract award stage and during any revisions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and Vodafone central functions on procurement improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an operational role within the telecommunications industry.
• Working knowledge of finance, marketing, enterprise and supply‑chain functions.
• Proven ability to understand customer and business requirements and translate them into delivery plans.
• Strong relationship‑management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge of special coverage strategy and deployment activities.
