Fintech Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Fintech will lead the bank’s engagement with fintech companies and digital financial service providers. Based in Accra, you will originate, develop and manage strategic relationships, driving revenue through investment banking, balance‑sheet solutions and advisory mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with fintech firms, including payment service providers, digital lenders, insurtechs, neobanks and technology enablers.
• Identify and originate investment banking opportunities such as capital raising, M&A, strategic partnerships and structured finance solutions.
• Coordinate internal product teams to structure and execute mandates, supporting due diligence, financial analysis and pitch preparation.
• Provide market intelligence on fintech trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, KYC/AML requirements and work with risk, legal and compliance teams to manage transaction risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field; professional qualifications (CFA, ACA, ACCA, MBA) are a plus.
• 5‑8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking or financial coverage, with proven exposure to fintech clients.
• Demonstrated track record in relationship management, deal origination and cross‑selling of banking products.
• Strong understanding of fintech business models, regulatory environment and funding needs.
