Founding Community & Programs Lead

About the role

Codifying the Stethoscope is a Pan‑African community that connects healthcare students with technology, digital health, and opportunities. We are seeking a Founding Community & Programs Lead to build and engage a vibrant student community across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Build and engage our community of healthcare students across Africa
• Design and coordinate workshops, discussions, and virtual events
• Identify topics and activities relevant to healthcare students
• Build relationships with student associations, universities, mentors, and speakers
• Help develop mentorship and student opportunity programs
• Gather member feedback and improve the community experience
• Help develop future campus representatives and student chapters
• Work closely with the founding team to shape Codifying the Stethoscope

Required profile

• Passion for healthcare, technology, education, or innovation
• Enjoys bringing people together and building communities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Takes initiative and follows through
• Comfortable coordinating people and turning ideas into action
• Experience in student leadership, community building, events, or programs (preferred, not required)
