Freelance French & Spanish Translator & Interpreter

About the role

We are looking for experienced freelance translators and interpreters who can work remotely to provide high‑quality French and Spanish language services. You will translate written content and deliver consecutive or simultaneous interpretation for a variety of client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate documents between English, French and Spanish, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation for meetings, trainings, events and virtual sessions.
• Review source materials, conduct terminology research and maintain glossaries.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Handle confidential information responsibly and support localization projects.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in French and Spanish (near‑native) with strong command of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Interpreting, Languages, Linguistics or equivalent experience.
• Proven professional experience in translation and interpretation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and maintain high quality.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Experience with CAT (computer‑assisted translation) software.
• Proficiency in translation tools and terminology management systems.
