Head of Instructional Technology – Systems Unit

About the role

The University seeks a senior leader to head the Instructional Technology, Systems Unit. This role will oversee the planning, organization, and evaluation of the technologies, hardware, and software that support the institution’s online course delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for the university’s online learning infrastructure.
• Manage hardware, software, and other technical resources to ensure reliable course delivery.
• Coordinate with academic departments to align technology solutions with teaching needs.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of instructional technologies and recommend improvements.
• Lead and mentor the instructional technology team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (minimum).
• At least five years of experience in a tertiary institution.
• Minimum three years in a leadership role within a related department.
• Strong understanding of online learning environments.
