Human Resource Manager

About the role

The organisation is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the HR function, align talent strategy with business goals, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. The role will be based in Accra and requires close collaboration with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute talent strategies, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
• Provide guidance to HR generalists and managers on complex, sensitive employee matters such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
• Oversee the talent acquisition process for managerial, exempt, and professional positions, working with department heads to define required competencies.
• Analyze compensation and benefits trends, and propose competitive pay structures to attract and retain top talent.
• Design and deliver learning and development programs that foster internal career growth.
• Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations while maintaining legal compliance.
• Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws, updating policies and practices as needed.
• Stay informed on HR best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in human resource management, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Residence in or around the Kpone Barrier community.
