Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR operations for Morgan Hill Pharmaceuticals across its multiple pharmacy branches in Accra. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management and aligning HR strategy with business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations across multiple pharmacy branches, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with Ghanaian labour regulations, and support workforce planning and talent development.
• Handle employee queries, coordinate benefits and payroll with finance, and organise training and development programmes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organisational goals and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Strong recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning skills for multi‑location operations.
• Experience in performance management, employee engagement and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in HR policy development, labour law compliance and HR documentation.
• Ability to manage compensation, benefits and basic payroll processes in partnership with finance.
• Competence in assessing training needs, organising learning programmes and supporting professional development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with high confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certification advantageous.
• Prior experience in retail, healthcare or pharmaceutical environments, especially multi‑branch operations.
