Issuing Officer (HWF)

About the role

The Issuing Officer (HWF) is responsible for managing the issuance of materials, items and documents across the Accra and Tema regions. The role ensures accurate record‑keeping, proper stock rotation and excellent service to internal staff and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process requests for materials, items, or documents before issuing.
• Maintain accurate records of all items issued, returned, and pending.
• Check stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation such as issue vouchers, receipts, or log entries.
• Inspect items for quality, quantity and compliance before issuing.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill their material or document requirements promptly.
• Maintain an organized storage area to ensure efficient retrieval and issuance.
• Report shortages, damages, or irregularities to supervisors or management.
• Ensure safe handling of sensitive or high‑value items.
• Provide customer service to staff or clients requesting items or documentation.
• Monitor and enforce FIFO/FEFO methods to ensure proper stock rotation.

• Familiarity with issuing, receiving, or stock control processes.
• Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or a similar administrative role is preferred.
