Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures that all garments and linens are cleaned, dried, folded and ironed to the highest standards for guests and staff. This full‑time onsite position supports the hospitality operations of Graceland Properties in Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers and pressing irons safely and efficiently.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and iron clothes according to fabric care instructions.
• Maintain accurate logs of garments received and returned to prevent mix‑ups.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized and well‑maintained.
• Report any machine faults or safety concerns promptly to the Hostel Manager.
• Manage inventory of detergents, fabric softeners and other laundry supplies.

Required profile

• Basic education certification (BECE/WASSCE) or relevant vocational training.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy loads.
• High attention to detail to avoid clothing damage or mix‑ups.
