Network Engineer – Cisco

About the role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Technical Manager and will be responsible for delivering technical support and network services for customer‑subscribed solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resolution to technical and administration issues for customer‑subscribed services via ticketing system.
• Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of systems, hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot backbone and last‑mile canopy networks and work on Cisco‑related backbone projects.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, appliances, server clusters and install Cisco and other routers.
• Maintain network documentation, prepare training material and develop operational procedures.
• Monitor system performance and perform performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot client service issues remotely or onsite.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, MCSE or MCT certification.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on networking experience.

Required skills

• Network troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Installation and configuration of Cisco routers and other networking appliances.
• LAN/WAN management and network cabling.
• Firewall, antivirus and packet‑sniffing tools.
• Configuration of server clusters.
