Operations Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise the day‑to‑day activities of our construction projects. The role ensures that works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while coordinating across project teams, subcontractors and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all construction sites and company activities, developing and enforcing operational strategies, policies and workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement and logistics to ensure seamless coordination of manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, operational performance and budgets, implementing corrective actions and cost‑saving initiatives as needed.
• Lead and mentor project managers, site engineers and operational staff, setting performance targets and conducting evaluations.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations, conducting risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing operations for construction or similar heavy‑industry projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, cost control and resource mobilisation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to safety culture and regulatory compliance.
