About the role
We are looking for a seasoned Power Electronics Expert to join our team on a short‑term, fully remote contract. The role focuses on designing and evaluating high‑performance power electronic circuits for a variety of applications, including DC‑DC converters, LDOs, AC‑DC supplies, and automotive power systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evaluate power electronic circuits such as DC‑DC converters, LDOs, AC‑DC power supplies, and automotive power systems.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad, Altium, or equivalent tools.
- Select components based on electrical, thermal, and reliability criteria.
- Perform design analysis for efficiency, ripple, thermal performance, EMI, and manufacturability.
- Validate designs through simulations, calculations, DRC/LVS checks, and design reviews.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics and PCB design.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals and power supply design.
- Hands‑on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
