Product Specialist – Chinese Speaking (Mining Equipment)

About the role

Epiroc Ghana is seeking a Product Specialist who is fluent in Chinese and English to provide hands‑on technical support for surface mining equipment. You will work in the Service – Mining & Rock Excavation Technique department, ensuring equipment reliability, safety and customer capability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field service support for maintenance, repair, startup and commissioning of surface mining equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend maintenance plans, repairs and spare parts to improve availability.
• Conduct equipment condition audits and deliver clear recommendations on mechanical and electrical health.
• Deliver technical training and hands‑on skills transfer to customer operators and technicians.
• Drive product safety initiatives by identifying risks and promoting safe operation practices.
• Collaborate with the Product Company, customers and site management on new projects, technical improvements and service assignments.

Required profile

• BSc or Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with surface mining equipment, preferably Epiroc DML HP models.
• Advanced knowledge of Epiroc products, strong troubleshooting capabilities and preferably Epiroc Technical Certification Level 2 or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory capability with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent communication, reporting and Microsoft Office skills; ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written communication.
