Production Manager

About the role

Shoe Fabriek Ghana Ltd is embarking on a strategic turnaround to become a world‑class footwear manufacturer. The Production Manager will lead factory operations, ensuring high‑quality output, on‑time delivery and cost efficiency while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production plans and coordinate all stages to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Implement and enforce a robust quality management system, driving defect reduction and quality ownership.
• Control costs through efficient labour, material and overhead usage; apply Lean and Industrial Engineering principles.
• Maintain optimal machine performance via preventive maintenance and reliability programs.
• Enhance production planning, reporting and performance tracking systems.
• Build, coach and develop a high‑performing production and industrial engineering team.
• Align production output with revenue and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Executive‑level manufacturing leader with at least 10 years of experience in production management.
• Proven track record of delivering quality, cost and schedule performance in a factory environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent people‑management skills with a focus on coaching and continuous improvement.
