Professor, Business School (Various Departments)

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a senior academic to join its Business School as a Professor. The appointment covers any of the Business School departments – Management & Human Resources, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will lead teaching, research and community service activities at a public university in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the appointed department.
• Supervise student projects, theses and dissertations.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic governance.
• Engage in community outreach and faculty development initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor.
• Minimum fifteen publications in recognized academic journals.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
