Relationship Manager – IDP Rising Schools Program

About the role

The Relationship Manager will be based in Accra and will drive partnership development and fundraising for the IDP Rising Schools Program. Working closely with Sinapi Aba Trust and IDP Foundation, the role focuses on building strategic relationships with government bodies, donors, and education stakeholders to expand the program’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and build relationships with government officials, Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, and other education stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture connections with bilateral/multilateral institutions, corporate donors, and philanthropic partners.
• Write and submit successful grant proposals to secure funding for the Rising Schools and Youth Apprenticeship programs.
• Coordinate program reporting and ensure timely, comprehensive updates to donors.
• Raise awareness of the program within targeted donor groups and convene partnership opportunities.
• Explore joint proposal opportunities that link basic education to employment pathways.

Required profile

• Results‑oriented professional with experience in fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development.
• Strong understanding of Ghana’s education sector and public‑private partnership models.
• Excellent communication and networking skills to engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both Ghana‑based and international teams.
• Based in Accra, Ghana.
