Business Developer – HR Consulting

About the role

HRLeverage Africa is seeking a Business Developer to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for its Ghana operations. You will represent the company’s Pan‑African HR service suite, build relationships with decision‑makers, and turn prospects into long‑term partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new corporate clients across private, multinational, and public sectors in Ghana, managing a structured sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Deliver professional presentations and pitches, negotiate and close service agreements in line with company pricing frameworks.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships, conducting regular check‑ins to uncover upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand visibility on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and email, and represent HRLeverage at conferences and networking events.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to leadership and reporting on KPIs such as leads, proposals, conversion rates, and revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; postgraduate degree or professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or HR is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within HR consulting, professional services, or B2B environments.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets and expanding a client portfolio.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using digital marketing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, email campaigns).
