Remote C# Software Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are building LLM evaluation and training datasets for realistic software engineering problems. As a senior‑level software engineer you will help create verifiable SWE tasks from public GitHub repositories and assess LLM performance on real code.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment preparation.
• Evaluate unit‑test coverage and quality of the selected projects.
• Modify and run codebases locally to measure LLM performance in bug‑fixing scenarios.
• Collaborate with researchers to identify challenging repositories and design evaluation tasks.
• Lead junior engineers on project delivery when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Tech‑lead level competence with complex codebases.
• Familiarity with high‑quality public GitHub repositories.
• Experience contributing to or evaluating open‑source projects is a plus.
