About the role

Way Music is seeking a full‑time Research Assistant to support music‑focused research projects in Accra. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in designing research studies and surveys related to music initiatives.
  • Collect data through interviews, questionnaires, and music‑related datasets.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and contribute to presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure research protocols are followed.
  • Keep the studio or laboratory environment organized and compliant with internal guidelines.

Required profile

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Experience in data collection, documentation, and basic study design.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
  • Interest in music, creative industries, and research environments.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., Research, Statistics, Psychology, Music, Social Sciences).
