Research Quality Specialist – Computational Physics (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Research Quality Specialist in Computational Physics to create and review high‑quality, research‑grade scientific problems for an online platform. The role is fully remote and offers a short‑term contract of 8 weeks, with a flexible schedule that includes 8 hours of work per day and a 4‑hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conceptualize original computational physics problems using Python.
• Assign appropriate categories, secondary tags, and difficulty levels to each problem.
• Develop complete, logically structured solutions for the problems.
• Participate in a two‑tier quality‑review process, collaborating with reviewers and team leads.
• Incorporate feedback to refine content and maintain high standards of accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• PhD or PhD candidate in Computational Physics.
• At least one peer‑reviewed publication in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific coding.
