Retail & Customer Experience Executive

About the role

Our client is a creative retail brand and hub for art lovers, DIY enthusiasts, and craft communities in Ghana. As a Retail & Customer Experience Executive you will drive retail sales and deliver an excellent customer experience on the shop floor while supporting digital engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, engage, and assist customers on the shop floor, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products.
• Promote products, promotions, and new offerings to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently communicate product features and benefits.
• Convert customer enquiries into sales and follow up on potential sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships, handling enquiries or complaints professionally.
• Ensure the shop floor is attractive, organised, and properly merchandised.
• Represent the company and brand professionally at all times.
• Support social media activities and respond to customer enquiries through digital platforms where required.
• Promote products through the company’s digital channels and identify opportunities to generate sales.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ retail sales experience, with proven shop‑floor sales experience being essential.
• Strong experience in direct customer engagement and face‑to‑face selling.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and convert enquiries into sales.
• Experience using social media for business, customer engagement, or sales.
• Experience with art, craft, DIY, or creative products is an advantage.
• Competencies: confident communicator, customer‑focused, social‑media savvy, great interpersonal skills.
