Sales Specialist – Medical & Laboratory Devices

About the role

The Sales Specialist will promote DCL Laboratory Products' portfolio of medical and laboratory devices and consumables to healthcare facilities, diagnostic centres and research institutions across Accra and the surrounding region. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on generating new business, nurturing existing accounts and delivering product demonstrations that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the medical and laboratory sectors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, including doctors, hospital administrators, procurement officers and laboratory managers.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations and quotations tailored to client requirements.
• Negotiate sales contracts in line with company policies and track sales forecasts.
• Record all sales activities, opportunities and customer information in the company’s CRM system.
• Monitor market trends and provide intelligence reports to management.
• Support customer onboarding and after‑sales service by coordinating technical issues with internal teams.
• Represent DCL at exhibitions, conferences and product launch events.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Basic sales management skills such as pipeline tracking, forecasting and territory planning.
• Relevant experience or interest in medical, laboratory or healthcare product sales.
• Ability to understand product features, benefits and competitive positioning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the company’s CRM for managing sales records and forecasts.
