Security Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Facility

About the role

The Security Supervisor will be based at the company’s Accra offices and will oversee day‑to‑day security operations for the pharmaceutical facilities, including the site in Tema. The role is hands‑on, ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors, and valuable assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a secure working environment for employees and visitors.
• Control and monitor access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage, and inventory zones, keeping all keys confidential.
• Conduct or supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers, and personnel to prevent unlawful removal of products, raw materials, tools, or company property.
• Implement security measures across assigned facilities and lead emergency evacuations.
• Assist the Head of Security by reporting all incidents—actual, suspected, or attempted.
• Seize prohibited items detected during checks and coordinate with law‑enforcement as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting facts, evidence, and actions taken.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent.
• Formal security training certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable security supervisory role.
