Security Team Leader

About the role

The Security Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the security guard team to ensure a safe and secure environment for the organization’s assets, employees, and operations in Accra, Ghana. This role involves managing daily operations, implementing safety policies, and coordinating emergency responses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead daily operations of the security team.
• Assign guard posts and organize deployment based on operational needs.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and order of the premises.
• Supervise attendance, discipline, and performance of guards across day and night shifts.
• Report irregularities, incidents, or security breaches promptly.
• Ensure proper shift handovers and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Coordinate with other departments during emergencies or special situations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security, with team leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with patrol operations, post assignment, and incident reporting procedures.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts as scheduled.
• Basic literacy skills for completing reports and checklists.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
