Senior Illustrator – Remote, $8/hr

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Illustrator to join our creative team on a short‑term, four‑week contract. This remote position offers flexible hours up to 40 hrs/week, with a required four‑hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality stylized illustrations, sketches, characters, scenes, and environments based on detailed briefs.
• Adapt, replicate, and maintain consistency across multiple artistic styles, ensuring accuracy and visual cohesion.
• Produce required illustration variants while preserving composition and visual direction.
• Apply strong fundamentals of composition, color, lighting, texture, rendering, and visual storytelling.
• Generate artwork across diverse styles such as Sketch & Drawing, Cinematic & Film Noir, Steampunk, Surreal/Dreamlike, Psychedelic, Cyberpunk & Sci‑Fi, Art Deco & Art Nouveau, Vintage & Retro, Glitch & Vaporwave.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an Illustrator, Sketcher, Cartoonist, Concept Artist, or a similar visual‑art role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across multiple illustration styles.
• Excellent fundamentals in composition, color, lighting, texture, and rendering.
• Proven ability to accurately replicate and adapt various art styles.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent delivery of high‑quality visual outputs.
