Site Manager – CIL Plant Maintenance

About the role

The Site Manager – CIL Plant Maintenance is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost‑effective operation of the Carbon‑in‑Leach processing plant and its supporting infrastructure. The role focuses on maximizing plant availability, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and delivering preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities for the CIL plant, including routine, preventive and corrective work.
• Plan, schedule and execute shutdown maintenance projects while minimizing downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and ISO standards.
• Manage a team of supervisors and technicians, providing guidance and performance monitoring.
• Oversee structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) works and ensure quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with multinational mining partners and internal stakeholders to align maintenance plans with production goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial or mining maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience managing maintenance projects in mining or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Membership of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (advantageous) and PMP, NEBOSH or IOSH certifications (desirable).
