Site Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

Spyros Limited is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities across its Accra and Tema projects. You will ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules while maintaining a safe and organized site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day site operations, guaranteeing compliance with drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Coordinate labor, artisans, and subcontractors to achieve efficient workflow.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on‑site.
• Conduct daily inspections, reporting progress, issues, and quality concerns to the Site/Projects Manager.
• Liaise with the Store Keeper to secure timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, attendance registers, and progress reports.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Support quality‑control checks to ensure construction standards are met.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Engineers on measurements, variations, and site instructions.
• Enforce discipline, professionalism, and site security at all times.

Required profile

• HND or Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor on construction or real‑estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for coordination across teams.
• Familiarity with Ghanaian building codes and safety regulations is an advantage.
