Spa Attendant

About the role

The Spa Attendant ensures a clean, welcoming environment for guests using the health club, spa, sauna, solarium and pool facilities. Working closely with the F&B outlets and lifeguard team, the role supports smooth operations and high‑quality guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures for the health club/spa area.
• Control usage of sauna, solarium, fitness and pool areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized health club, pool and fitness environment.
• Support F&B outlets during busy periods and clean bar and service areas.
• Schedule massage appointments and report technical difficulties to maintenance.
• Control inventory of towels, bathrobes and kitchen towels; assist with ordering pool supplies.
• Clean fitness equipment and assist guests with workout tools and equipment.
• Welcome guests, provide tours and explanations of equipment, and manage towel distribution and signature sign‑in.
• Monitor in‑house and external visitors.
• Assist lifeguards with setup of sun beds and related services.

Required profile

• Vocational School Certificate in hospitality or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and staff.
• Flexibility in scheduling and physical ability to handle heavy duties.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
