Studio & Operations Manager

About the role

The Studio & Operations Manager will ensure the studio environment is safe, clean, well‑organised and fully functional at all times while driving efficient production flow and on‑time delivery of orders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain studio safety, cleanliness and organisation, overseeing day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage studio supplies, consumables and equipment upkeep, arranging servicing and repairs promptly.
• Plan studio layout, space utilisation and storage to support production flow.
• Coordinate with utilities, contractors and service providers for premises matters.
• Work with the Lead Studio Ceramist to align production output with order demand, lead times and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee order fulfilment from production through dispatch for retail, wholesale and commissions.
• Handle packing, documentation and shipment for local and international deliveries, ensuring accurate customs paperwork.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering and monitoring stock levels.
• Source, vet and onboard local artisans and suppliers, managing long‑term relationships.
• Travel across greater Ghana for sourcing, site visits and partner management.
• Schedule and support the studio team, conduct preliminary screenings and foster a positive culture.
• Administer payments to artisans and suppliers, manage petty cash and reimbursements under founder oversight.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 60 months of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel across the greater Ghana area for sourcing and partner visits.
• Proven ability to coordinate studio teams and manage day‑to‑day operational needs.
